Millwork services

Six service lines, each quoted individually after an in-home measure. Prices below are the real ranges we invoiced across Mecklenburg and Union counties in the last twelve months.

01

Custom kitchen cabinetry

Full-inset or 3/8" overlay doors, 3/4" plywood-core boxes, solid maple dovetailed drawers, Blum Tandem runners and Grass hinges. We coordinate directly with your countertop fabricator, plumber and appliance supplier so template day is not a surprise.

  • Ventilation hood enclosures
  • Islands up to 12 feet in a single top
  • Interior fittings: knife blocks, spice pull-outs, tray dividers
  • Under-cabinet lighting chases pre-routed

Typical investment: $24,000 – $68,000  ·  Shop time: 8–11 weeks

02

Built-ins, libraries and media walls

Floor-to-ceiling bookcases, window seats, fireplace surrounds and television walls. Old Charlotte houses are rarely square; every unit is scribed on site so the reveal against the wall stays even from floor to crown.

  • Matching existing baseboard and casing profiles

Typical investment: $4,800 – $16,000  ·  Shop time: 5–7 weeks

03

Bath vanities and linen storage

Vanities built for humidity: sealed end panels, moisture-resistant substrate at the deck, and finish schedules chosen for daily cleaning. Includes drawer notching for plumbing and coordination of sink cutouts.

  • Floating and furniture-style vanities
  • Medicine cabinets with beveled mirrors
  • Linen towers and recessed niches
  • Double vanities with symmetrical grain match

Typical investment: $2,900 – $9,500  ·  Shop time: 4–6 weeks

04

Paneling, trim and coffered ceilings

Raised panel wainscot, board-and-batten, shiplap, picture-frame moldings, beamed and coffered ceilings. We grind custom knives when a historic profile cannot be bought off the rack.

  • Profile matching for pre-1940 homes
  • Stair skirtboards, treads and newel posts
  • Door and window casing packages
  • Ceiling beams in reclaimed or new stock

Typical investment: Priced per linear foot  ·  Shop time: 3–6 weeks

05

Mudrooms, closets and laundry

Storage that uses the whole wall. Lockers with bench seats and hooks, drawer banks, hampers, folding counters and adjustable wardrobe interiors sized to what you actually own.

  • Bench seating with lift-lid or drawer bases
  • Full-height wardrobe interiors
  • Laundry counters over front-load machines
  • Pull-out hampers and ironing stations

Typical investment: $3,400 – $14,000  ·  Shop time: 4–7 weeks

06

Refacing, refinishing and repairs

When the boxes are solid, replacing doors, drawer fronts and hardware and re-spraying the frames on site gives a new kitchen for roughly 40% of the cost. We also repair storm and water damage and rebuild single failed units.

  • New doors and drawer fronts in your species
  • On-site spray with containment and filtration
  • Hardware upgrades to soft-close
  • Single-cabinet repairs and hinge rebuilds

Typical investment: $6,000 – $19,000  ·  Shop time: 2–4 weeks

Working with trade

Designers, builders and remodelers

Roughly a third of our year is trade work. We supply shop drawings in PDF and DWG, hold pricing for 45 days, sequence around your other subs and hand over an installed, punched-out room. Trade partners get a dedicated contact, a shared job folder and a standing net-15 account after the first completed project.

Drawings

Plan, elevations, sections and a rendered 3D view, revised twice at no charge.

Scheduling

Install weeks committed in writing; we hold slots for repeat trade partners a quarter ahead.

Site conduct

Uniformed crew, floor protection, dust containment, daily cleanup and a photographed punch list.
